China Just Declared “Tourism War” on Japan… and Shot Itself Instead.

After PM Sanae Takaichi made a normal statement about defending Japan if China invades Taiwan, Beijing panicked, issued a travel warning, and ordered airlines to cancel Japan routes. The result? China’s already money-losing airlines are now burning their last profitable routes… for “patriotism.”

Meanwhile, Japan doesn’t even care. It’s suffering from overtourism and has been trying to reduce foreign visitors. China is literally helping Japan achieve its goals while crippling its own tourism industry.
