Genetically Modified Snow? Fact or Conspiracy Theory?

Today, I discovered a video showing people melting a bunch of snow. They claim that the snow is genetically modified chem trail snow that turns black, won't melt, and smells like plastic. Are they right? I am out in my backyard fact checking it right now!
