1/27/26 Piano Practice with 'Second-Era' Hummer
"First Era' Hummer sat beside the piano student, critiquing! No, she had never played it; she only 'taught' it. Her students were her (4) boys, who played this song VERY WELL! They played this song and numerous others for our wonderful friends at the nursing home.
It hasn't been until now that I have had a chance to place my fingers on the ivories!
My lessons 'learn-ing' are two-fold:
• Don't wait until you can't see the music, awaiting cateract surgery!
• Be youth-ful when you begin! (Don't wait until the aging effects take over. 👵
