This Woman Has An Elephant For A Best Friend And Their Bond Is Unbreakable

Elephants are the biggest mammals with the biggest hearts who know nothing but good and love. They are adorable and loving animals who can create bonds not just with other animals, but with humans too. Elephants are about as friendly as humans-which means, they can be incredibly, and that’s why they can form bonds with humans and become best friends.

Acrobat and animal handler Lauryn Murray, 33, from Florida, grew up in a circus and spends almost every day caring for Lady Essex, a huge Asian elephant. Lauryn says the two are 'as close as a human and an elephant can be.’ Amazingly, Lady Essex plays fetch with Lauryn’s dogs and even likes to play with her three-year-old son, who helps bath her.

“How close are me and Lady Essex? Well, just as close as humans and animals can be. I grew up in a circus. Lady Essex became part of our family before I was born. She is an Asian elephant, she almost weights 10,000 pounds. Caring for her, it’s a full-time job. “ Lauryn talks about her bond with her elephant bestie.

Her day is entirely dedicated to her friend. She wakes up, drinks her coffee and then she goes on a long walk with her, and after that, if the weather is good, she will have her bath, then she will drink her water and eat.

And throughout the day, they will go through the same things, and periodically they will do certain things like teaching her new tricks like throwing a ball or kicking a ball, or she will play fetch with her dog.

“So elephants have over 40,000 muscles in their trunk alone. You know, that’s more than the human body, and they can drink up to 60 gallons of water in one sitting, “ tell Lauryn how much she knows her friend.
