AR-0210: Canada has always been home to the body horror subgenre of horror films that used the various mutations of human bodies to portray some seriously scary hitsa. David Cronenberg is the undisputed master of this type of film.

Thanatomorphose ["fan-a-tow-more-foes" is how you pronounce it] is a 2012 arthouse body horror flick shot in the French part of Canada that attained a serious reputation when it came out as the most extreme body horror movie out of Canada. Granted, this narratively slim flick does exactly what you'd expect it to do - the story is about a woman who starts rotting down to the freaking skeleton but starts getting more horny as she decays.

That being said, this thing is pilotless and surprisingly dull - never has the sight of a progressively decomposing nude woman been so boring. The chick is also hard to sympathize with.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
