Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! In this video I’m reacting to Asmongold’s clip “This is f*ing insane…” covering a viral U.S. Senate hearing exchange where a medical expert was unable or unwilling to give a simple yes-or-no answer to the question: “Can men get pregnant?” — even after repeated, straightforward questioning from Senators like Josh Hawley and Ashley Moody.

At a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing on abortion-related issues, Dr. Nisha Verma — a board-certified OB/GYN and expert witness — refused to plainly answer that no, men cannot get pregnant, instead focusing on talking about treating patients “with different identities” and saying that yes/no questions were “political tools.”

Here’s how I see it:

I’m critical of Dr. Verma. The question she was asked — whether men can get pregnant — is a basic biological fact rooted in reproductive biology: people with male biology do not get pregnant. When medical professionals refuse to acknowledge that simple reality because of political pressure or ideological framing, it undermines trust in science and common sense.

I’m also critical of the left and those who push ideology over reality. Science and evidence should guide medical testimony — not circular definitions or debates about identity in a context where biological sex and pregnancy capacity are clearly tied to physical reproductive systems. Refusing to answer “yes” or “no” when asked about something so basic makes the entire discussion look disconnected from reality, and it fuels confusion, not clarity.

I’m supportive of the Senators who pressed her for an answer. When experts testify before legislative bodies, they should be held accountable and asked direct questions. Senator Hawley repeatedly asked the same question to try to pin down a straightforward scientific fact, and that kind of persistence is exactly what transparency and truth demand.

Biology isn’t subjective. Some things are factual — and when adults appointed to speak as experts can’t or won’t say what is plainly true, it’s not just frustrating — it’s harmful to public discourse.

If you think science and facts should be acknowledged honestly — no matter who is asking — hit Like, Subscribe, and ring the bell. Then tell me in the comments: Why do you think some people refuse to state obvious biological facts in public debates?
