Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! In this video I’m reacting to Jesse James West’s “Female Giants vs. Strongest Dwarfs” — where a group of very strong female bodybuilders went head-to-head in a variety of strength tests against trained male lifters with dwarfism in challenges like squats, tug-of-war, deadlifts, and more.

The results were fascinating: the dwarves often had a leverage advantage in raw strength tests, while the powerful women showed incredible performance in other events — but overall this matchup highlighted the real biological differences between male and female bodies when it comes to strength and power.

Here’s what science actually shows:

Biological males tend to be stronger than females, even when training and muscle size are similar. Research points to males outperforming females in most measures of strength — 76%-88% of strength assessments were greater in males even after matching for muscle thickness.

A consensus statement from sports scientists confirms that differences in anatomy, hormones (especially testosterone), and physiology make males typically stronger and more powerful than females — even with the same age and training.

Average male athletes produce significantly more strength, speed, and power than female athletes in events requiring muscle force or explosive performance.

It isn’t about disrespecting anyone — it’s about acknowledging real biological differences so that we can keep sports fair and safe. That’s why sex-segregated categories exist in athletic competition: to give women a level playing field where their own dedication, training, and talent can shine without being overshadowed by inherent biological advantages.

Which brings me to the current debate about transgender women competing in female sports. When biological males — even those who identify as women — compete against biological females, they can bring significant physical advantages that have nothing to do with effort, heart, or skill — but rather with muscles, hormones, and physiology that developed under male biology. This isn’t just theory, it’s supported by real strength data and sports science.

So yeah — let’s celebrate what all athletes can do. But let’s also be honest about biology, respect women’s sports, and not undermine fairness and safety by ignoring the very real physical differences that science shows over and over again.
