⚡️ Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces inspects Zapad Group of Forces

Chief of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov inspected the formations and units operating the Zapad Group's area of responsibility.

▫️ At the command post of one of the formations, the Chief of General Staff was informed by the Group Commander, Colonel General Sergei Kuzovlev on the situation in the area of responsibility as well as by the commanders of the formations on the results of combat missions.

▫️ Summing up the results, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov noted the success of the Zapad Group of Forces in carrying out the assigned tasks and gave instructions for further actions.

🎖 At the end of the inspection, the Chief of General Staff presented state awards to the most distinguished servicemen and thanked them for the bravery and courage shown during the combat operations.
