Lion’s Meal: Devouring the Word!

Jeremiah, surrounded by troubles, tells God that he has discovered the Word, and like the Lion of Judah allusions which come, he was stalking and devouring the Word of God. It turns out that Lions are stalk-ambush predators that generally hunt at night or dawn, following a four-phase procedure of spotting, stalking, pouncing, and killing to secure meals, often targeting wildebeest or zebra. Lionesses typically do the hunting, often working in groups to surround prey before attacking. We can learn many parables from the Lion and the Lion of Judah.
