First Nations Leaders Speak on Alberta Separation

Alberta separation — First Nations react

“First, we’ve got lawyers.
We’ve got judges.
We’ve got Crown prosecutors.
We’re ready.
We’re ready for a fight.

We have resources that we can share and utilize ourselves for any litigation, for any challenges that may come.

We will be the only sovereign nations of Canada.
That is another thing that was stolen from our people — sovereignty.

Not only have they taken our land, our resources, and everything else that belongs to us,
they are also trying to take our words.

The rhetoric and insanity of separation here in Alberta has united First Nations — not just on this land, but from coast to coast.
