Lyrics
I don't want to be shy
No, no
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
Said, I would never get a girl like, you if I was a shy man
For a woman like you, I would take a trip to the moon
I could twist things around, they even make me come after you
Convencional lockdown fit me, woman you trick me
I'm walking around just thinking how to get to your heart
I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
Said, I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)
For a woman like you, I could sing a sweet song
And I would sing it right, even if I was wrong
This is my declaration
I'll tell you 'bout your tention
Just lock up the door and sit down on me
I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
Said, I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)
Shy man
Shy man
Shy man
I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
I would never get a girl like you, if I was a shy man (shy man)
Said, I would never get a girl like you if I was a shy man (shy man)

Songwriters: Alberto D'ascola / Federico Gigli Marin / Oliver Cadenza

This track perfectly blends the golden era of 1970s rocksteady with a modern West London edge, making it a staple for any roots reggae lover.

"Shy Man" was recorded in 2015 during Kiko Bun's transformative trip to Jamaica. The session took place at the legendary Shengen Studio in Kingston, the creative hub of international reggae heavyweight Alborosie, who produced and mixed the track.

Kiko Bun (Federico Marin) chose the title of his debut EP, Come Again, as a tribute to the Jamaican studio culture he witnessed, where vocalists would shout "come again" to signal another take. The song features authentic organic instrumentation, including heavy bass and sweet, melodic brass riffs that evoke the spirit of Studio One classics.

If you enjoy the smooth vibes of Bob Marley or Dennis Brown with a fresh contemporary twist, this is the track for you! Don't forget to Like, Follow, and Share for more high-quality reggae music.
