China has bought up most of the largest pet food corporations.
this is hardly the first time that tainted Chinese-made food products have made the news. There was a massive pet food recall in 2007 that implicated Chinese producers, and there were worries that those ingredients could have made it into the human food supply.
There have also been concerns about lead paint on Chinese-made toys exported to the U.S.

Pam D'agostino-Monteleone : There are Facebook sites that help you buy American. Just go to the search box and type in by American and you will see them. There are so many good American brands we just don’t realize it.
Rennie Shalmar : china is the biggest threat to humanity and the wildlife - it has flooded the planet with knock offs and replicas and tainted food and medications and is about to exhaust all the natural resources world wide and they have opened the wet market again, while our two parties are fighting one another tooth and nail -- we don't have a pen or pencil made in the US anymore - when I see made in china on the tag i feel sick to my stomach .
Wendy Laraway : Rennie Shalmar , agree, trying to find any product NOT made in China is extremely difficult, we need our industries back, even if we have to pay more, at least it will be safe unlike chinese products which are mostly unfit for purpose !

Yes we may have to pay more but I’m betting there will be less crap in our landfills as I’m gonna say that American made will last longer and the more we buy American made the prices will go down on said products. We just have to be diligent in checking out where the products are made. I have no problem buying from other countries as long as the products are responsibly sourced and don’t involve the killing of animals or engaging in slave labor.
