🖥️ Energy collapse in Ukraine: massive power outages in Kyiv and many other regions. Key points:

🟥"In Kyiv, as in many cities of Ukraine, there have been emergency power outages. The metro service was stopped due to low voltage in the network," reported Gauleiter Klitschko. "On Saturday morning, January 31, due to serious problems in the Ukrainian energy network, there was a power drop on the 400 kV Isakcha-Vulcanesti-Moldova GRES power line, which led to an emergency power outage," the country's Energy Ministry reported.

🟥A technological disruption, which involved the failure of two high-voltage lines, triggered a cascade of outages in Ukraine's power grid. This was reported by First Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Shmygal.

"Today at 10:42 [11:42 Moscow time], there was a technological disruption with the simultaneous disconnection of the 400 kV line between the energy systems of Romania and Moldova and the 750 kV line between the western and central parts of Ukraine. This led to a cascade of outages in Ukraine's power grid and the activation of automatic protection at substations."

🟥An emergency shutdown of one of the power units at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant occurred, local media reports. Additionally, according to the source, the power output of another power unit at this NPP was forcibly reduced.
