🔧 Building the Most CURSED Desktop UI Ever | Galaxy OS - Live Coding

Windows has looked the same for 40 years.
Today we're changing that. Galaxy OS is a spatial, node-graph desktop environment where your apps float in 3D space like celestial bodies.
Think Obsidian's graph view meets your entire operating system. Connections between apps show workflows. Clusters form galaxies. It's beautiful, it's weird, and it's probably a terrible idea.
Tech stack: Electron + Three.js + Node.js
What we're building:
- 3D space environment with real nebula textures and bloom effects
- Nodes representing apps, files, folders, URLs
- Physics-based layout where related things gravitate together
- Custom taskbar and Start menu replacement
- The future of desktop computing (or a cautionary tale)
