Note: This happened just a few days after the massive "Northridge Earthquake" occurred in Southern California. The big one in years.

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert reviews "Intersection" (Very Miserable and Overly Contrived Romantic Melodrama about an architect caught in an intersection between two mistresses following a crash collision. Produced By: Bud Yorkin. Directed By: Mark Rydell. Starring: Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, Lolita Davidovich, Martin Landau and Larisa Oleynik in her screen debut before "The Secret World of Alex Mack".); "The Air Up There" (Underrated Basketball Comedy/Drama about an American Coach teaching tribal players in Kenya. Starring: Kevin Bacon.); "Body Snatchers" (Director Abel Ferrara's most underappreciated Sci-Fi Horror Remake with Gabrelle Anwar, Billy Wirth, Terry Kinney, Meg Tilly, R. Lee Ermey and Forest Whitaker. Warner Bros. totally blew it by giving a limited releasing in smaller cities, flopped hard and lands on Home Video a few months later where I first saw it. Rented at Blockbuster. Originally slated for a Fall 1993 release.); "Iron Will" (Formulaic but an entertaining Thrilling Snow Dog Sled Adventure with Mackenzie Astin, David Ogden Stiers and Kevin Spacey.) and "Hoop Dreams" (An Epic, Awesome and Spectacular Basketball Family Documentary about two inner city brothers who are willing to become future Basketball Stars! Directed By: Steve James.)

Video Pick of the Week: Siskel's pick is the brilliant and gritty, "American Gigolo" from writer/director, Paul Schreder. Starring: Richard Gere and Laura Hutton. And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
