I left Satanism because…

I do not doubt that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that the Bible is true. He pulled me out of the darkness and into the light. Even though I am a sinner, He loves me.

I did not leave Satanism because of a ‘bad experience’ as some believe. I am also not sick nor near death, and there wasn’t a particular incident that scared me.

In the Garden of Eden, Satan used the fruit to tempt Eve to disobey God. Eve had been close to the forbidden tree, as she was most likely curious about the one thing God told her to stay away from. There are many things in life that we should avoid, but Satan has a way of making them look ‘good.’ What is a ‘fruit’ that Satan uses to tempt you?

I had supernatural experiences throughout the years when I was a Satanist, and instead of leaving for good, I tried to make excuses, as I didn’t want to believe they were for evil intent, but it was clear that they were. Satan knows how to keep someone on his side as he gives positive reinforcements occasionally, just like an abusive partner.

Satan hates humanity, but he can fake benevolence for his own gain. I was foolish to fall for it, but thanks to the love and mercy of Jesus Christ, I am free.
