The World Divides

Rapid change (technology, migration, climate, culture) makes many feel disoriented, so they retreat into familiar identities. Why do division happen? Human pride and rebellion: safety without depending on God. A limit on dangerous unity: a unified humanity whose power is directed toward self exaltation, so the division acts as a “check” on a collective project that could lead to deeper corruption or self destruction.
