The 1946 Lie: How “Hate” Was Redefined to Silence Scripture

Streamed on:
46

Did the Bible really change in 1946, or is that claim built on selective history and modern revisionism? In this teaching, we examine the original Greek, Hebrew, and historical context behind the so-called “1946” claim and why it fails under scrutiny.

For nearly 2,000 years, Jews and Christians shared a consistent understanding of biblical morality. Only in the mid-20th century did scholars begin arguing that Scripture never condemned certain acts until modern English terminology appeared. This study shows why that argument collapses when tested against the Septuagint, Koine Greek, and early church history.

We examine the Greek word arsenokoitai, Paul’s deliberate connection to Leviticus, why Romans 1 cannot be reduced to “temple prostitution,” and how the modern redefinition of “hate” has been used to silence moral disagreement rather than engage Scripture honestly.

This is not about culture wars. It is about whether Scripture is allowed to define itself.
