DOJ Shuts Down Stephanopoulos’ Don Lemon Spin: YOU DON’T STORM CHURCHES.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche torched ABC’s George Stephanopoulos after the far-left host attempted to downplay Don Lemon’s federal indictment for storming an active church service under the guise of “journalism.”

During an explosive exchange on ABC’s This Week, Stephanopoulos suggested Lemon was merely “reporting what was going on.” Blanche responded with the facts Stephanopoulos conveniently left out — including an appellate court ruling, a grand jury indictment, and clear probable cause for Lemon’s arrest.

Blanche made it clear:
🔹 Journalism does not include storming a church
🔹 The First Amendment does not override freedom of religion
🔹 Being a former CNN host does not put you above the law

As outlined in the unsealed indictment, Don Lemon and co-conspirators forcibly disrupted a Minneapolis church service, blocked congregants, intimidated families (including children), and refused to leave after being asked by the pastor — all while livestreaming the event.

Lemon is charged with:
📌 18 USC §241 – Conspiracy to Deprive Rights
📌 18 USC §248 – Violation of the FACE Act

The indictment also reveals Lemon had prior knowledge of the “clandestine” operation, coordinated with radical activists, and intentionally withheld details from his audience while participating in the action.

Blanche summed it up bluntly:

“If anyone thinks that’s ‘independent journalism,’ I’d like to have a conversation with you.”

Meanwhile, Fox News reporter Matt Finn confronted Lemon over blocking churchgoers and refusing to leave. Lemon ignored the questions and shook hands with supporters.

President Donald Trump also weighed in following Lemon’s arrest, calling him a “washed up sleazebag” and a “failed host” who finally found attention again.
