STORING UP REAL TREASURE THAT LASTS

Matthew 6:19-21 New King James Version
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

BECAUSE YOU CAN’T “TAKE IT WITH YOU”! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY GOOD FRIENDS!!!
There's something about these words from Paul to Timothy that really get me, because I've heard them twisted and distorted in so many different ways, even by the woke left right now, but I've also heard them distorted by the IFB, and that makes it just as discouraging sometimes. But bottom line is that I’m learning one very important thing. That the things we have are only temporary. That the things of this world will quickly pass, and as Job himself said, ““Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21)

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has shown me on what it means to store up treasure that lasts, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you listen to what I have to say. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you not only think about them, but act on them.

How might you “pack less” for eternity?

What treasure might you store up for heaven?

My prayer for all of you tonight, my friends, is that you listen carefully to what I say and act on it. Don't place your trust faith in the temporary riches, things, possessions, or even people but place your full and complete trust in God. Remember what James 4:12 says and how life is a very short, brief passing vapor, and ask God to help you do what Psalm 90:12 states in numbering, and appreciating the days that you have, and ask God every day for a heart of wisdom and how you approach each and every day. Make sure that your focus is on God, not the things of this world, and if you've been blessed with wealth and riches, don't hoard it, be arrogant about it, or hide it from others, but share it willingly. Store up for yourselves treasures, real treasures in heaven, that last forever, and watch how God will bless you not just in this life, but in the life to come. That is life that is truly life my friends, and it's a life worth living.
