Space Weather enthusiast Stefan Burns posted a great video this week regarding current solar flare activity, which is at an all time high in recorded history.
Stefan noted that current solar activity seems to be mirroring the Carrington Event, which happened in the late 1800s. The Carrington Event was when a Solar Flare derived EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) fried all of the telegraph wires worldwide!
