Baptism is for Repentance. Jesus is God

Jesus is God. God is love, all powerful, he is the creator, he loves Justice but gives us mercy meaning he does not always punish us as we deserve. He created himself in human form, Jesus, with Mary. He came here to teach us how to love one another and God, as well as to make himself the ultimate sacrifice. God knew that some people hated him so much they would murder him if he was standing right in front of them. When Jesus let himself be murdered, he used his death as a sacrifice offered to God for the world's sin. Before Jesus came into the world, people would sacrifice animals to appease God after they had done evil in order to have Gods favor again. God used that system of sacrifices in order to be the sacrifice himself. If we believe and accept that the sacrifice of Jesus was done for our wrongdoings as well as for everyone else's, we receive God's forgiveness once we ask for it. Then by believing and earnestly asking for forgiveness, you have Gods favor: It doesn't matter what wrong you have done, even the most evil things. By doing what he did, he showed us all Gods nature that if God was a man he would sacrifice himself to save each of us out of love, even the people he hates. God made it possible that by believing in such a God,Jesus, you can be worthy of heaven. Those who are unwilling to believe in God and what he did as Jesus will go either to hell or to a place that is not heaven “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. John 3:16 He is called the Son because he was a creation of God with a woman.

Baptism was meant by God to involve earnestly asking him to help you to change to be the person he wants you to be. One thing the prayer for change involves is asking God to help you stop doing things that are against him. Another thing it may involve is asking for his help to commit yourself to something you know Jesus wants for you. It's a true ritual given to us by God symbolizing the cleansing we choose by asking him to help us change. It was never meant for babies. God really helps you change if you mean what you pray. The water being put on you is symbolic for the cleansing that occurs during baptism. Just as a dirty tool is different after being cleaned with water so you are different by your earnest request to God to help you change. He answers your prayer and sends you the holy spirit which is a helper. It can't force you to do anything but it helps you to do what is right. Baptism is required in order to go to heaven. “Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no man can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit” John 3:5. Heaven is one meaning of the “kingdom of God” and “born of the water” is baptism. If a person who is capable of noticing they are not as God wants them to be, never once, over the course of their lives, asks God to help them change to be the person he wants them to be then they are not worthy of heaven. Pentecostal churches and Seven Day Adventist churches do baptism from what I know. You can also baptize yourself. All that is required is 1. a belief in the one true God, Jesus Christ 2. Earnestly asking him to help you change into being the person he wants you to be. 3.water being put on you. Baptism was not meant to be done on babies and the argument that because whole households were baptized(in some translations) Acts 16:33 therefore babies were baptized back then is disproved by Acts 10:2 that says an entire household was God fearing. “ A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway” Acts 10:2 Babies cannot be God fearing, in the way we mean that term, because they are not in a state to know what right or wrong even is. Household in the context of the bible more closely means people in a house above or at the age of reason.
