Abby Johnson Testifies For Equal Protection for Preborn Babies

On February 3, 2026, Dr. Abby Johnson testified in South Dakota in favor of a bill recognizing equal protection of the law for preborn babies.

Abby Johnson once served as a Planned Parenthood clinic director but grew increasingly troubled by what she witnessed. Abortion was treated as a product to be sold—not a tragedy to be reduced.

After confronting the reality of abortion, Abby experienced a profound transformation and sought help from a local pro-life group. She committed her life to defending the preborn and exposing the abortion industry for what it truly is.

Today, Abby speaks worldwide, educating the public, advocating for life in the womb, and reaching out to abortion clinic workers. Part of her personal testimony includes her own expericene with having abortions.

She is the founder of And Then There Were None, which has helped more than 740 abortion workers leave the industry since 2012. In 2019, she also founded ProLove Ministries to support and strengthen pro-life efforts. Abby lives in Texas with her husband and eight children.
