THE HARD ROAD

Reading Proverbs can provide wisdom. Our first reading today comes from Proverbs and compares the way of the ant versus the way of the sluggard. It is really about taking the easy road or the hard road. Another Proverb says laziness is, "kin to the destroyer." Satan wants you to take the easy way in life. He knows a hard work ethic is a Christian virtue. Jesus packed a lot into His three years of ministry; so much that St. John tells us there wouldn't have been enough "paper" at that time to write everything down that Jesus said and did. That is why we have Scripture AND Tradition.
We hope you will watch today's service and spread the word to others. After all, how many church services can you attend today that don't ask you for money? But we hope that isn't the only reason. We hope that you find our topics interesting, educational and insightful.
