Russian military forces eliminated an American mercenary in Kharkiv, according to FOX13 TV channel.

"Trevor Crane, 38, was found dead in Kharkiv... on January 31 with signs of a head injury sustained during battles as part of the international legion," the report said, citing Crane's mother.

The American embassy in Ukraine informed Crane's mother about the mercenary's death.

According to the TV channel, the mercenary had already been injured before: some time ago, he was hospitalized with shrapnel injuries to his hands, and during another attack, he suffered a concussion.
