The Papacy is Antichrist.

The papacy is Antichrist. When a pope dies, then another one is elected. The one who is elected to and holds that office is the current Antichrist. The Antichrist is NOT a Christian, but he is the enemy of the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ—and that pure Gospel is found in Scripture alone.

The papacy teaches the false gospel of justification by faith and works—based on its mixing of human traditions into the Holy Scripture—making the Word of God of no effect (read chapter 55 of Isaiah, and then read chapter 7 of Mark).
Listen carefully, those who die believing in Roman Catholicism will die in their sins and go to hell. Roman Catholicism mixes Law and Gospel, as it teaches salvation by grace and works, based on human free will and synergism. Simply put, popery blasphemes by making Jesus but half a savior.

Only those who believe in the Gospel, who receive the free remission of sins by faith alone in Christ alone, and by God’s grace alone—and all according to Scripture alone—will be saved (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-10, and 2 Timothy 1:8-11).

The elect are pronounced innocent and declared righteous by God—based solely on the finished work of Jesus Christ their Surety and Redeemer—the very moment the Holy Spirit quickens them unto life and creates faith in them, causing them to believe the Good News and accept the imputed righteousness of Christ their Mediator freely credited to their accounts.

The righteousness that justifies the elect is not their own personal righteousness—but the righteousness of another put to their accounts. The righteousness that justifies those that believe the Gospel is the vicarious righteousness of the Messiah. It is an external and covering righteousness that permanently changes their legal status from guilty to innocent. This allows God to justly forgive them and treat them just as if they had never sinned. God is both just and the justifier of His elect.

The death of Christ was the ransom paid to deliver us from the condemnation of the Law. Christ’s death was a definite atonement made for the elect alone. Jesus’ particular redemption effectually saved each person He intended to redeem. The shed blood of the Lamb of God was the price of our redemption from sin, misery, and death—and it reconciled us to the Father.

Because of Christ’s perfect satisfaction, our sins were entirely expiated and God’s wrath placated—and the Lord God not only pardoned all our sins—past, present, and future—but He accepted our persons and adopted us to be His sons and daughters.

Consider how Christ is our Mediator and Trust in the Covenant of Grace—how He who was Himself entirely righteous, died in our place, having our guilt charged to His account (numbering Him with the transgressors), and Jesus was buried, and He suffered under death for a time. His glorious resurrection on the third day was proof that His justifying work satisfied all the demands of the Law, both the debts we owe and the penalty we deserve—and so Christ left that tomb victorious, death unable to hold Him!

Jesus Christ did it all—it is finished—for salvation is of the Lord. This is why we say salvation is by grace alone (Titus 3:5). This is why we say justification is by faith alone (Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16).
