A talented artist has the real Midas touch - taking orders from all over the world to cover everyday objects in 24 carat gold. Rob Mitchell, 32, has 'blinged up' items from car engines to coffee machines, and from barbecues to basketball hoops. Customers - including reality TV stars and clients as far afield as Australia, the United States and Canada - send their regular household items for real life Goldfinger Rob to jazz up with gold metal plates in the back office of his dad's garage in Strood, Kent. Since setting up his 24-carat plating business 14 years ago, Rob has attracted the attention of major firms such as Lamborghini, Harley-Davidson and Red Bull and his work has gone viral, receiving millions of online hits.
