The Democrats in the House voted against funding key components of the Department of Homeland Security, including FEMA, TSA, the Secret Service, and others, while ICE funding continues through 2027. Democrats are pushing demands that would severely hamper ICE's ability to identify, apprehend, detain, and deport illegal aliens, while granting increased protections to them. Democrats will orchestrate a propaganda campaign, with media assistance, to blame Republicans for resulting inconveniences to air travelers and disaster victims when they shut down the government.
