According to Comicbook.com, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has won the Academy Award for this year's Best Animated Feature. Although the film has won bout every other animated prize this awards season, many were skeptical over whether it would win the Oscar because Disney has had unprecedented success in the animated Oscar category over the last decade, and many believed the award would go to a disney film.
