A cabbie's car has clocked one MILLION miles – the equivalent to the moon and back twice.

Proud Albert Smith, 57 bought his black cab in 2001 from a Birmingham dealer only expecting it to last him three or four years.

But two decades later the taxi, which he bought for £23,500, is still going strong on the streets of Edinburgh, recently reaching the 1,000,000 milestone marker.
