Idris Elba May Replace Will Smith In ‘Suicide Squad’ Sequel

Idris Elba is reportedly being considered to replace Will Smith as Deadshot in the James Gunn-directed sequel to “Suicide Squad." TheWrap reports an anonymous source with inside knowledge said Smith exited the project due to scheduling conflicts. He is set to begin shooting the “Bright” sequel for Netflix in July, and Warner Bros. is scheduled to begin production on the “Suicide Squad” sequel in September.
