The Wrap is reporting that Amy Schumer is set to star in “The Humans” at A24.
The film is an adaptation of a Tony-winning play from Stephen Karam, an individual with knowledge of the project tells TheWrap.
“The Humans” is set at Thanksgiving.
It follows the Blake family in their run-down Manhattan apartment.
They argue and deal with aging family members, illnesses, economic woes and frustrations over religion.
The news of the film adaptation was first reported by Deadline.
