Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon is wowing everyone on “American Idol" but he notes it carries a challenge.
He recently sang a tender version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide" which he dedicated to his parents.
His mother and father, a pastor, rejected him after his TV debut because he came out as gay.
"I just want them to know that I love them, and I tried to communicate that.”
Harmon hopes that young LGBTQ people find courage by watching his time on the show.
