Comicbook.com reports Mortal Kombat 11 pays a lot of tribute to the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie.

But the references aren't all easy to spot.

Luckily, a player pointed some of them out on Reddit.

An intro between Liu Kang and Johnny Cage talking about Sonya Blade and "her mind" is literally from the movie.

More easter eggs are sure to be found in Mortal Kombat 11, now available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
