Ridley Scott Is Working On Third ‘Alien’ Prequel

The **Alien** franchise may get another installment in the near future.
2017’s **Alien: Covenant** received mixed reviews and made just $74.3 million in North America.
Ridley Scott, who directed the 1979 original and the prequel (2012’s **Prometheus**,) says he is working on a follow-up to **Covenant**.
Scott told The Hollywood Reporter he is “pushing a fresh take."
No further details have been released.
