A Program Fostering a Love of Reading
Imagination Library is a program created by famed country singer Dolly Parton to foster a love of reading. Through the program all participating children birth to age five receive high quality, age-appropriate books by mail each month at no cost to the family. United Way brought Imagination Library to western Racine County in September of 2009 and expanded to serve the entire county in June of 2016. In honor of our 10-year anniversary, United Way of Racine County is holding a community match campaign with a goal of raising $40,000. Joining us with details on the Imagination Library and their 10 year celebration are Alexa Haigh and Joanee Meyerhofer from United Way of Racine County. United Way of Racine County is hosting a Beer Garden Fundraiser at Petryifying Springs Biergarten on July 20 from 6pm to 9pm.
