BTS Gets Invite To Join Recording Academy

Korean pop group BTS were invited to join the Recording Academy, which is the group that chooses the Grammy Awards According to Reuters, this invitation is a move to diversify the group. BTS was amnog 1,300 artists, writers and music professional invited to join the Recording Academy. The Korean group broke through the U.S. market in 2017 and became the first Korean group to win a Billboard music award. Their album “Love Yourself: Tear” was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Awards.
