The first trailer for the reboot of “Child’s Play” surprised fans by changing the plot of the story. The original was about a serial killer who possessed a doll and killed a bunch of people. According to Gizmodo, the reboot is about a smart toy who finds autonomy and kills a bunch of people. When the original film came out serial killers were getting a lot more attention, such as Ted Bundy and the Manson Family.
