Montreal is the only city in Canada that gets to try out UBER’s newest project first - and it’s called JUMP. UBER’s electric bike doesn’t do the pedaling for you but the battery it has does make moving forward an absolute breeze. Priced at $0.30 a minute, how far your trip will cost you is tied to the distance you’re travelling but also how fast you can pedal. Moving up to 32km/h means you get some good distance for a decent price. Is JUMP an alternative to the traditional Uber offering? Not really, but it will definitely give BIXI a run for its money in Montreal.
