Idris Elba Wrote A Song Featured In 'Hobbs & Shaw'

Idris Elba plays the villainous role in the “Fast & Furious” spin-off “Hobbs & Shaw.” According to CNN, his role inspired him to write a song, which he wrote in between scenes. Elba then played the song for director David Leitch who liked it so much he put it in the film. The actor said: “The hybrid of being able to put something that I've made specifically for a movie I'm in is new territory for me.” Elba often DJ’s under the name DJ Big Driis and even played a set at Coachella in 2019.
