Verdun Beach is Now Open for the Summer!

The beach in Verdun has been on the rise for ten years and 5 million dollars has been invested into creating a little paradise in the city. “It’s still a work in progress”, says Marie-Andrée Mauger, Borough Councillor of Verdun. With being so close to the metro, it’s a real hot spot and busier than they expected. The beach officially opened on Saturday, June 22. It will be open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., until September 2.
