Lozayi Handheld Vacuum Review

This is a nice little supplemental vacuum - we've been missing having a smaller vacuum cleaner in the house - we have a Roomba which takes care of things most days, but if there's something small we have to pull out the cord. This is a perfect little addition to our cleaning family.
I was pleased to find that the case is big enough for the vacuum and all the accessories, and that it wasn't branded with "LOZAYI" like other review pictures I see. It's nice a subtle. The attachments are a nice addition, though I don't feel necessary in most cases. The LED light is nice to have, but I find myself accidentally hitting the button more often than not.
Suction seems adequate for the size - not awesome, but I don't plan to be vacuuming up anything heavy or tangled. That's not the intention of this kind of vacuum.
I really like the removable and reusable filter - I hate having to buy filters for things, so I'm happy that's not a requirement here.
My biggest complaint has to do with the way the filter sits inside the unit - I put the filter in and there doesn't appear to be a good way to make it fit firmly against the motor/back part of the unit. As a result, vacuuming up some beach sand ended up with a lot of sand blowing out of the side of the motor and I'm still shaking it out trying to get all the particles gone. I like the flap that closes off the entrance to the bin, but when cleaning up sand, I turned the vacuum on again, the flap opened and sand poured out before the vacuum was at full suction - things shouldn't fall out of your vacuum that easily. I don't think this would be a problem with not-sand things, but as much as I wanted to love this and give it 5 stars, I have to knock a star off for a filter that isn't as tight as it should be. There doesn't appear to be a good way to 'lock' the filter in.

For $50, my complaints feel minor - I am still happy with this little unit, I just need to make sure the filter is in securely and that I'm not tipping the vacuum forward before the suction has completely started.
