Montreal International Students Stuck In Garbage, Cockroach & Bedbug-Infested Apartment Building

2 International students living at 4860 Queen Mary reached out to us via Twitter earlier this week because for 2 months the alley outside their apartment was filled with trash. The trash brought in cockroaches and bedbugs. The building sits between 4860 and 4870 Queen Mary Road. The Janitor of their building refused to take responsibility, made racist accusations, and after further investigation, we uncovered he has been evading taxes by charging them cash for rent. After we released our initial MTL Blog article a couple days ago, the property owners of 4870 Queen Mary(Akelius Montreal) cleaned up the trash.
