Grieving daughter has same diagnosis as mother

A grieving daughter has told how was diagnosed with breast cancer just two weeks after her mother was killed by the disease.

Emma McAuley, 26, went for tests after finding a lump in her breast, and instantly knew it wasn't good news, because her mum, Pat, 61, had been battling cancer since 2012.

She kept it a secret during her mum's final weeks, going for tests which ultimately revealed she too had cancer.

Just two weeks after her mum Pat had died from breast cancer, Emma got a text asking her to come in for the results of her own biopsy - while she was at the funeral.
