Update On Odessa Shooting

Authorities have shot and killed the alleged gunman in the shootings around two Texas cities. The shootings left five people dead and over 20 others injured.

Officials in Texas responded to an active shooter situation in the area between the cities of Midland and Odessa, Texas Saturday afternoon.

Police said at least one suspect was shot and killed near the Cinergy movie theater in Odessa.

“It has been confirmed that the active shooter was shot and killed at the Cinergy in Odessa. There is no active shooter at this time. All agencies are investigating reports of possible suspects,” the Midland Police Department said on Facebook.
