Peek a Boo the Parrot Grabs Young Ladies Cell Phone

Peek a boo! Sometimes a fun game we play with youngsters in a very calming way hoping for some laughter. In all actuality, here we have a different Peek a Boo, she is a 22 year old African Grey parrot with a very perky attitude. African greys can live up to 60 years old and often live to at least 40 years of age. Known as the “Einsteins of the bird world” they are extremely intelligent and often learn to talk and mimic sounds they hear in their household. The African grey parrots generally inhabit savannas, coastal mangroves, woodland and edges of forest clearings in their West and Central Africa range when in the wild. The larger size birds of the African grey species is also referred to as the Congo African grey, this bird actually has a much wider natural range in Africa, including the southeastern Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Tanzania.These African grey parrots are by far the most well known parrots for being kept in captivity as pets because of their intelligence. Peek a Boo loves people and playing, although she is not a fan of some genres of music. Isabelle , one of the young ladies in the video was over visiting her best friend Maddy one day and they went to see Peek a Boo. Maddy invited Isabelle into the room where Peek a boo the parrot spends most of her time. Listening to music on her phone, Isabelle decided she wanted to see if Peek a Boo would dance to the music she had playing on her cell phone. Placing the phone on top of the cage Isabelle and Maddy enjoyed watching Peek a Boo as she began bobbing up and down on her perch. It wasn’t long before Peek a Boo starting moving towards the music. The young ladies figured ”wow she really likes this tune”. They were not quite correct. As soon as Peek a Boo was within reach of the phone, she reached through the cage bars with her beak and showed just how much she enjoyed their choice of music. Gripping the phone within her beak, Peek a Boo pulled the cell phone through the bars and slammed it onto the bottom of his cage. Shocked with Peek a Boo’s actions, the young ladies Isabelle and Maddy laughed hysterically hoping the phone was not damaged. Peek a Boo had shown the young ladies that their choice of music was definitely not her favourite.
