This footage shows a young boy who attempted China's bizarre new 'Perfect Figure Challenge' with his head trapped between two metal posts and having to be rescued.

These bizarre metal posts have apparently been erected in tourist spots all over the country and the challenge is now going viral online, the idea being to see if a person is thin enough to slip between the bars.

The ‘Perfect Figure Challenge’, which has been trending during China’s National Day holidays, sees participants squeezing through increasingly narrow gaps in order to measure how skinny they are.
