The name The Pomeranian is derived from the name in the north-west region in Poland Pomerania. The Pomeranian or Pom is a breed of dog of the Spitz type. The Pomeranian is considered to be descended from the German Spitz. Pomeranians were developed as a Breed by English Fanciers around 1760.

Teacup Pomeranian is not a Pomeranian species. The teacup is the trendy description used by bad dog breeders to sell this small version of the Pomeranian.
Behind the sweet dog is a dark history that you most people don't know about. Teacups dogs in general are bred by breeding "runts". The smallest or weakest newborn dog (The Runt) is selected from the nest for breeding. Until the breeder has made the desired size dog. - Black skin disease or in animals Alopecia X - baldness and black spots or marks on the bald skin
- Tracheal collapse - a chronic, progressive, irreversible disease of the trachea, or windpipe, and lower airways. It has small rings of cartilage that help keep the airway open when the dog is breathing, moving or coughing.
Teacup Pomeranian is not recognized as a dog breed by recognized dog organizations around the world other than the Pomeranian. They advise not to buy any teacup breed because the way they are made is animal-unfriendly.
