Historic harbour and beach left in a sea of orange caused by overflowing sewage

An historic harbour and beach where Poldark was filmed has been left in a sea of orange - believed to have been caused by overflowing SEWAGE. The harbour is home to ancient tall ships and looks like a scene straight out of a by-gone era, so much so that it is often used as a filming location for period dramas. It was one of the spots used in Poldark, the hit BBC drama featuring Aidan Turner, and in nearly every episode main characters Ross and Demelza visited at least once. But now the water at Charlestown, Cornwall, has turned an oddly golden hue, which is thought to have been caused by raw sewage spilling into the sea.
