LVMPD prepared for Election Day

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is stepping up patrols for election day by setting up a deployment operations center at their headquarters. It will be staffed with investigators from the state attorney general's office and the Nevada secretary of state's office. It will also have state highway patrol troopers and about 600 extra non-patrol officers on standby.
